Brand kit

The Robinwood Stocks name, voice, palette and typography, for integrators and press.

The name

Robinwood Stocks (Latin, plural vimina): the flexible yew twig used for millennia to draw baskets. Every asset is a robinwoodstocks: a single thread, flexible, fragile alone. Robinwood Stocks weaves them into a basket stronger than its threads, and like any hand-drawn draw, it can always be undone: in-kind redemption is in the name.

Naming conventions:

  • Protocol: Robinwood Stocks ("Robinwood Stocks Protocol" only in legal/docs contexts).
  • Products: the tickers are the heroes ($MAG7, $HOOD6, $AI6). Format: "the $MAG7 basket by Robinwood Stocks". In the UI they're "baskets"; in informal copy the constituents are vimina.
  • Domain: rwoodstocks.xyz · X: @robinwoodstocks · email: hello@rwoodstocks.xyz.

Tagline: The market, drawn into one token. Alternates: "Own the market in one mint" · "Seven stocks. One token. Zero managers." ($MAG7) · "Drawn, not wrapped." · "Single twigs break. Drawn, they don't."

Voice

A friend who works in finance and explains things without making you feel stupid. Precise on numbers, relaxed in rhythm, radically honest in docs: limits are admitted before anyone else points them out ("This contract is unaudited. That's why deposits are capped.").

Never promised: returns, "safe", or "the first on-chain ETF" (a basket is not an ETF; the distinction is legally relevant). While it is true, "unaudited, deposits capped" appears on every product surface.

Paper is the default (warm light mode is the distinctive, "savings-grade" look); dark mode uses Ink as base. Rattan is used sparingly; it is precious, not wallpaper. Never neon green (#00C805 is Robinhood territory).

Typography

UseFace
Display / titlesFraunces (variable serif)
UI / bodyInter (400/500/600, never light)
Numbers, addresses, tickersIBM Plex Mono, tabular figures always

The brand's typographic signature is the contrast: a Fraunces title next to a Plex Mono figure in the same view.

Logo direction

A "V" drawn from 2–3 flexible strands crossing with over/under drawing logic, small stroke interruptions at the crossings, uniform stroke weight, rounded terminals, slight organic curvature (twigs, not vectors). Supporting pattern: the wicker draw as brand texture (7 strands for $MAG7, 6 for $HOOD6 and $AI6). Avoid: literal baskets, up-arrows, blockchain hexagons, web3 purple gradients, anything resembling the Vimeo play-button V.
